In the current context of development, cities take on a unique responsibility. Cities are agents of economic development, of strengthening of social cohesion and dynamics. The city and its public services should display high efficiency, great capacity for resilience and adaptation to social and economic dynamics. With this in mind, it is fundamental that the management of the city is supported by technological platforms which enhance data collection and analysis; thus, contributing towards the development of an information sharing ecosystem, in the open data model, which foster the development of integrated management applications.
